Charges upgraded to murder, Rockhampton: An 18-year-old man who was charged with attempted murder following the alleged assault of an 82-year-old Rockhampton woman will have the charge upgraded to murder when he next appears in court on April 28. The woman was allegedly assaulted at a George Street residence on January 26 and later died in a Brisbane Hospital on February 3.
Murder charges, Gladstone: A 41-year-old Yeppoon man has been charged with murder following the death of a 45-year-old Gladstone man. Police had located the deceased on January 30 at a residence in Ferguson Crescent Gladstone. The charged man was located at Yeppoon on February 2 and has been in hospital being treated for injuries received prior to his arrest. He is due to appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court this afternoon.
