Chemist armed robbery, Labrador: Police are currently investigating an armed robbery of a chemist in Brisbane Road, Labrador today. About 11.45am a man armed with a Stanley packing knife entered the store and demanded cold and flu medication be placed in a red/black backpack. The man left the store with a quantity of cold and flu medication. The man was described as being of Caucasian appearance, 25 years-of-age, slim build, tanned complexion, blonde hair, with brown eyes and was wearing a grey coloured long-sleeve jumper with a hood, long trousers with no shoes. He was carrying a black/red backpack.

Drug charges, Bundall: Three people have been charged following the execution of a search warrant of a unit in Elliott Street, Bundall today. A 23-year-old Bundall man has been charged with two counts of possess dangerous drug, one count of possess utensil, one count of obstruct police, one count of assault police and one count of tainted property. A 21-year-old Logan Central man has been charged with two counts of assault police and one count of contravene requirement. A 30-year-old woman has been charged with two counts of tainted property. All three are due to face the Southport Magistrates Court on May 21. A police officer was allegedly injured after an occupant of the unit threw a watermelon and shoes at him from the balcony. The officer’s wrist was broken in the incident.
