Evening Round-up
Armed robbery, Tarragindi: Police are looking for a man after an armed robbery at a convenience store in Tarragindi this evening. Around 6.10pm a man entered the 7”2”7 convenience store on Ekibin Road and confronted the staff member. He produced a large knife and demanded cash. The man left the store with a sum of money and was seen hopping into a late model, black motor vehicle. He is described as being European in appearance, with a large solid build and was aged in his twenties. He was wearing a blue striped polo shirt, dark blue track pants and a baseball cap.
Fatal incident, Allora: A four-year-old boy has died as a result of an incident on private property near Allora today. It is believed that the child was struck by a tractor that was operating on the property around 1pm. The boy was taken to the Allora Medical Centre for treatment and then transported by the Queensland Ambulance Service to the Warwick Hospital where he later died. Investigations into the incident are continuing and Work Place Health and Safety have been notified.
