Burglary, Kuraby: Police are investigating the burglary of a pharmacy in Kuraby yesterday. Two men kicked in a glass panel on the front doors of the Kuraby Pharmacy in Beenleigh Road about 4.40am before a stealing a quantity of medication. The first offender is described as Caucasian, 18 years old and wearing board shorts, a grey T-shirt, dark beanie and work gloves. The second offender is described as Caucasian, 18 years old and wearing black track pants, a black T-shirt and work gloves. Anyone with information about the identity of the offenders should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Arrest robbery with violence, Fortitude Valley: Police have charged three people in relation to the violent robbery of a 54-year-old man on the corner of Brunswick and Ivory Streets, Fortitude Valley at 4.00 this morning. It is alleged two females and a male repeatedly kicked and punched the victim and stole his wallet and mobile phone while he was on the ground. Police patrols located the alleged offenders a short distance away where they were arrested. A 25-year-old man, an 18-year-old female, and a 33-year-old female were each charged with one count of robbery with violence in company and one count of assault occasioning bodily harm while in company. All three will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow. The victim received cuts, bruising, and swelling to the face and received treatment at the Royal Brisbane Hospital.
Armed robbery, Redbank Plains: Police are investigating the armed robbery of the Silver Palace Chinese Restaurant on Kruger Parade last night. At around 8.40 pm a man approached a male employee at the front counter of the restaurant. He produced a gun and syringe and threatened the attendant, demanding money. The man took the till tray and left the restaurant. He has been described as about 30-years-old, 180cms tall with a slim build, sandy coloured hair and fair skin. He was wearing a light blue shirt with dark blue piping around the neck, dark coloured shorts with thick white stripes and a green and yellow baseball cap.

Charges follow Canterbury clothing theft: Police have charged two men in relation to the theft of “Canterbury” clothing from a Coopers Plains warehouse last weekend. A 22-year-old from Westlake and 23-year-old from Riverhills will appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court on February 5. They have been charged with one count each of entering premises with intent. Police have also recovered some of the clothing which was allegedly stolen from a shipping container and a warehouse in Boundary Road. Investigations are continuing.
Fatal workplace incident, Woodridge: A teenage boy has died after he was caught between a shipping container and truck as the container was being unloaded at a business at Woodridge this afternoon. About 1.45pm information was received of the workplace incident at a shopping complex in Ewing Road, Woodridge. Emergency Services and representatives from Workplace Health and Safety are currently at the scene.
