Robbery, Cellarbrations Bottleshop Ashgrove: Police are looking for a man after a robbery at the Cellarbrations Bottleshop at Ashgrove last night. Around 9pm a man entered the store and threatened the attendant. He demanded cash and the attendant handed over a sum of money before the man left the store. He was last seen riding a motorcycle along Harries Road, Ashgrove and was wearing a red helmet.

Armed robbery, Hervey Bay: Police are investigating the armed robbery of a taxi driver yesterday afternoon. It is believed the driver picked up two men from the Bay Central Shopping Centre at 2.10pm. As he was driving them to their destination one produced a knife and demanded cash. The driver has complied and the pair fled the taxi at the Urangan Central Shopping Centre and were last seen running along Elizabeth Street. The men are described as Caucasian and approximately 18-years-old. One was wearing a blue shirt and the other a white shirt.
House Fire, Elliott Heads (south east of Bundaberg): Police are investigating a fire in a vacant house at Elliott Heads, south west of Bundaberg last night. Around 11pm police were notified that a high set house in Rule Street was engulfed in flames. The blaze was extinguished however the interior of the building was extensively damaged. No one was injured in the incident and police are treating this fire as suspicious.
