Assault, Acacia Ridge
Police are investigating an assault on three occupants of an Acacia Ridge home this morning.
Two men, wearing balaclavas, entered the Benton Street residence about 10am and bound two men and one woman before ransacking the house.
The men who were armed with sticks and a hammer assaulted the two male occupants before fleeing in the home owner’s car.
One man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for observation after being struck with the hammer.
The car the men left in is a white 1994 Holden Commodore, registration 136 JDQ.
