Armed robberies, Ipswich

Police are seeking assistance from the public to help solve three armed robberies that occurred in the Ipswich area between March and May 2007.

On March 10, around 1.30pm a woman entered the PFS Real Estate shop at 59 Brisbane St West Ipswich armed with a knife.  The woman threatened an employee and obtained a sum of money before leaving the business.

On April 5, 2007 at 8.15pm a woman who was armed with a hammer entered the Freedom Fuels Service Station at 256 Brisbane St West Ipswich. She demanded cash from an employee and left with a sum of money.

On May 3, 2007 at 6.20pm a woman entered the Brassall Esky Bottle Shop at 21 Hunter St Brassall armed with a tyre leaver.  She threatened the attendant before removing a sum of cash from the till.  The woman was seen getting into a red 1980s model Daihatsu Charade and drove off.

On each of these occasions, the woman was described as having an average build and being around 165 centimetres tall.
