Armed robbery, Broadbeach Waters
Police are investigating an armed robbery at FJs Convenience Pizza and Pasta store on Cypress Drive yesterday afternoon.
Around 3.45pm a man entered the store armed with a knife and approached the 16-year-old female attendant.
He demanded money before reaching over the counter and taking a sum of cash from the register.
The man was last seen heading east on foot along the Nerang-Broadbeach Road.
He is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 20 to 23 years old, 170cm tall with a slim build, fair complexion and short neat ginger hair.
When last seen he was wearing a black baseball cap, black short sleeved polo shirt, knee length cream pants, white runners and very dark black sunglasses.
