Fatal crash, Nebo: Police are urging caution on the roads in the wake of a fatal crash on Fitzroy Development Road, Nebo shortly before 4:30 this afternoon.  A 56-year-old Andergrove man was killed when the car he was driving left the road colliding with an embankment, causing the vehicle to veer onto the right hand side of the road before hitting a tree.  The driver was cut from the vehicle and treated by medical staff, but died at the scene.  Police are believed to be investigating fatigue, alcohol and speed as contributing factors to this crash.

Fatal crash, Tully:  Police are believed to be considering pre-existing medical conditions as a contributing factor of a fatal crash at Lower Tully Road, Lower Tully shortly before 2pm today.  The 81-year-old male driver was the sole occupant of a sedan when it left the road, colliding with a tree and rolling onto its roof.  The man was transported to the Tully hospital and treated, but later died.  Police continue to investigate this crash.
