Serious Crash, Mount Ommaney
A 20-year-old man is in a serious but stable condition at the PA hospital following a serious crash at the corner of Dandenong Road and Endeavour Street, Mount Ommaney last evening.
Around 10.30pm it is believed the car in which the man was a passenger, was traveling north when the 17-year-old female driver attempted to make a right hand turn before colliding with a taxi near the on-ramp to the Centenary Highway.
Two other people in the vehicle at the time, a 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old man, received minor injuries.
The taxi driver and his two male passengers, aged 21 and 36, and a 57-year-old female passenger were not injured.
Officers from the Boondall Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the incident.
Police are seeking the assistance of a possible witness who was driving a white vehicle, possibly a small 4WD, behind the car or anyone else who may have witnessed the crash to contact them.
