Officer dismissed
A Detective Sergeant from State Crime Operations Command was today dismissed from the Queensland Police Service following the conclusion of a disciplinary hearing.
The 44-year-old man appeared before the Deputy Commissioner (Regional Operations) on a number of misconduct charges.
The hearing related to incidents which occurred between 2003 and 2007.
The officer has a right of review through the Misconduct Tribunal. The Crime and Misconduct Commission also has the right of review.
