Motorcycle and pedestrian crash, Tingalpa: Police are investigating a traffic crash between a motorcycle and a pedestrian that occurred in the southbound lanes of the Gateway Motorway in Tingalpa around 5.30pm today. The pedestrian was a truck driver who alighted from his vehicle in heavily congested traffic and collided with a motorcycle that was travelling south in the emergency stopping lane. The truck driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and the motorcycle rider suffered minor injuries. Both were transported to hospital for treatment of their injuries.Anyone with information which could assist police with their investigations should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
School bus crash, Upper Coomera: Three children were transported to the Gold Coast Hospital with minor injuries following a crash at a Billinghurst Street carpark today. The crash, which involved three school busses, occurred shortly before 4pm. A number of children were treated for injuries at the scene. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this crash.
