Robbery with violence charge, Geebung: Two males from Petrie, aged 16 and 18, have been charged overnight with robbery with violence while in company. It is alleged the teenagers and another male approached a 19-year-old man on Railway Parade at Geebung about 9 last night and asked for money. It is alleged the group assaulted the man and took his bag after he told them he did not have any money. The 19-year-old managed to run away to a nearby business and call police. They both appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court and Brisbane Children’s Court today. Investigations are continuing.

House fire, Deagon: Police were called to a house fire on Bowen Street, Deagon about 1.45 this afternoon. The house has received extensive damage and Queensland Fire and Rescue officers are still on scene. No one was in the house at the time of the fire. Investigations are continuing.

Update, fatal crash, Wamuran: A 19-year-old man who was in a critical condition after a single vehicle crash at Wamuran on Friday April 24 has died. The crash claimed the life of the 19-year-old male driver at the scene. A third man, aged 26, still remains at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and is in a stable condition. About 12.35pm on Friday the men were travelling along Pates Road when their vehicle left the roadway and collided with trees. The men were believed to have been staying in the local area. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
