Update – missing girl, Caboolture: The search for a 12-year-old girl that went missing at a weir near Edwards Street will resume at first light. Police and emergency service personnel responded to reports the girl was missing around 1.30pm, but an extensive water and land search failed to locate the missing girl. Water police, in conjunction with the SES will resume searching in the river and along the banks tomorrow.
Single vehicle crash, Caboolture: A 28-year-old man was transported to the Royal Brisbane Hospital this afternoon after crashing his vehicle in Caboolture around 1.20pm. The driver and single occupant of the car lost control of the vehicle, crashing into a power pole at the intersection of Lynfield Drive and Christine Street. The driver was extricated from the vehicle by the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service suffering serious injuries. Police investigations are continuing.
