Fatal crash, Palmwoods
Police are currently at the scene of a fatal traffic crash on Old Palmwoods Road at Palmwoods.
A man, believed to be in his late 20s, died after the motorcycle he was riding crashed around 5.35pm.
A police officer parked on the side of Old Palmwoods Road as a part of the Easter road safety campaign, observed the motorcycle allegedly travelling at speed before the crash.
The officer drove in the direction the motorbike was travelling, and came across the crash scene a short time later.
Police Forensic Crash Unit and Ethical Standards Command are investigating the incident.
