Murder charge, North Toowoomba

A 26-year-old Newtown man has been charged in relation to the death of a man in his 60’s in North Toowoomba overnight.

Police were notified about 6.20am that a man had been located deceased on Mort Street near the intersection with Christmas Street.

The man has been charged with one of murder and is due to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Monday, June 1.
