Child exploitation charges, South Brisbane: Police have charged a 24-year-old man with one count each of produce child exploitation material and possession of child exploitation material. The charges relate to an alleged incident at Southbank around 1.30pm today. The man is due to face Brisbane Magistrates Court on June 15.   

Serious crash, Tully: Police attended the scene of a serious two vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway at Tully tonight. Around 6.05pm a car and truck collided near the Tully River Bridge just south of Tully. The driver and sole occupant of the car had to be taken to Tully Hospital with serious injuries, while the truck driver was treated for shock at the scene. The highway remains closed while police investigate but should be re-opened shortly.
