Fatal crash, Bungundarra: A 41-year-old man has died after a single vehicle crash on Bungundarra Road, approx 200m west of the intersection with Woodbury Road. The vehicle left the road and crashed into a ditch around 1.45pm. The man was deceased at the scene. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating. Break and enter charges, Stafford: A 32-year-old ?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />Wavell Heights man will face the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow on a total of 13 charges. The charges relate to alleged petrol drive-offs and the break and enter of four addresses. He has been charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two counts of stealing plus four counts of break and enters. Additionally, he has been charged with possessing house breaking implements, a knife, tainted property and two counts of possession of dangerous drugs.
Assault charges, Nerang: Southern Investigative Group Detectives and Nerang police have this afternoon arrested and charged four people in relation to a number of alleged assaults near a restaurant at Earle Plaza in Nerang last night. Two male youths aged 16 years were charged with four counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count each of stealing. They are scheduled to appear in Southport Children’s Court on July 8. Two men aged 18 years will face Southport Magistrates Court on July 16 charged with four counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and stealing.
