Serious crash, Dalby: A 32-year-old Southport man is in a critical condition following a traffic crash at Dalby. About 6.30am today police were advised a vehicle had rolled on the Dalby-Nungil Road approximately 10kms east of Dalby, and the male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was outside the vehicle unconscious. Preliminary investigations indicate the vehicle was travelling west when it hit a bridge railing and rolled a number of times. The man was taken to the Dalby Hospital with head injuries and then airlifted to the Royal Brisbane Hospital.

Serious crash, Highgate Hill: Investigations have commenced into a serious crash on Dornoch Terrace this afternoon involving a car and a pushbike. It is believed the vehicle was turning right onto Dornoch Terrace from a side street around 1.10pm when the car and pushbike collided. The male rider suffered serious head injuries and was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment. Officers from the Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.

Robbery, Arundel: Police are investigating the robbery of several poker machines at a tavern at Arundel early this morning. Around 4.50am a man entered the tavern on Napper Road by breaking a window and removed money from several poker machines inside. He then left the scene with a sum of cash. The man was wearing a black jacket, jeans and a balaclava.
