Serious crash, Biggera Waters: A pedestrian was critically injured when she was hit by a car around 10.40 this morning at the intersection of Brisbane Road and Oxley Drive, Biggera Waters. The woman suffered serious injuries and was transported to the Gold Coast Hospital. The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating. Single vehicle roll-over, Gogango: Around 5pm police was informed of a single vehicle roll-over on the Capricorn Highway approximately 800 meters from the top of the Gogango Range. The driver and single occupant of the car was extracted by passing motorists before Emergency Services reached the scene. He was taken to the Rockhampton Base Hospital with serious facial and head injuries. Police investigations are continuing.
