Missing person Greenslopes located: Ian Charles Gibson reported missing from Greenslopes on September 17 has been located safe and well. Media are thanked for their assistance with this matter.

Burglary and sexual assault, West End: Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident early this morning. About 12.15am, it is believed a man entered a room in a boarding house in West End. A 38-year-old woman woke to find a man attempting to assault her. The man left the room through the window when he realised the woman was awake. He is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 177 centimetres tall with short dark hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a shirt and jumper at the time of the incident.

Attempted armed robbery, Kuraby: Images have been released of a man who may be able to assist police with their investigations into an attempted armed robbery at Kuraby on August 3attempted armed robbery kuraby0. About 10.45pm a man entered the convenience store on Beenleigh Road and asked the attendant for a packet of cigarettes. When the attendant asked for identification the man produced a knife and threatened the man before demanding cigarettes and cash. The attendant refused to hand over the goods and the man left the store. He is described as Pacific Islander in appearance, in his late teens to early 20s, approximately 163cm tall with a slim build and black hair.

Rape charge, Capalaba: A 22-year-old Annerley man has been charged this afternoon in relation to the rape of a woman at a Capalaba residence on September 17. He was also charged with enter dwelling with intent, robbery with violence and deprivation of liberty. He is due to appear in the Cleveland Magistrates Court tomorrow.
