Morning Round-up

Murder charge – stabbing death, Goodna: A 27-year-old Goodna man is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court today charged with murder following the death of man at Goodna last night. Around 6.30pm police were called to a residence on Cramp Street in relation to an alleged altercation between two men. Upon arriving at the residence it is alleged police located a 52-year-old man with stab wounds. He was treated at the scene by ambulance officers before being taken to the Ipswich General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
