Morning Round-up Second Edition
Assault arrests, Runcorn: Police have charged four men after an incident last night in Runcorn on Brisbane’s south. It is alleged the men held a 26-year-old man against his will and assaulted, robbed and sexually assaulted him. The men have been charged with one count each of rape, torture, robbery, assault occasioning bodily harm in company and extortion. They are due to face Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
Assault charges, Upper Mount Gravatt: A 24-year-old Zillmere man was charged with assault occasioning bodily harm while armed and in company, and break and enter after he was arrested overnight. The man allegedly broke into a south-side school science lab and stole a quantity of glass ware. During the incident police allege the man assaulted the caretaker of the school. The 24-year-old will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
Stalking charge, Bardon: A 44-year-old Ipswich man has been charged with one count of stalking with circumstances of aggravation. It is alleged the man placed a tracking device on a car of a family residing in Bardon. The man will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning.
