Police have charged a 30-year-old man with the murder of 33-year-old Maryborough man Noel Allan Clark.

As a result of fires in the Mt Archer area police will doorknock residences in Sanctuary Estate backing onto bushland from Guthrie Street to Cascade Gardens Estate today giving residents an update on the fires and advice on safety and preparation should an evacuation be necessary. SES volunteers will assist police in their endeavours.
