Drugs charges, Millaa Millaa: A 38-year-old woman has been charged after police executed a search warrant at a Millaa Millaa today. Around midday police attended a McHugh Road address and allegedly located a quantity of cannabis and drug utensils. The woman has been charged with one count of possessing a dangerous drug, producing a dangerous drug and possessing a drug utensil. She is due to appear in the Atherton Magistrates Court on October 27. Investigations are continuing.

Fatal injuries, New Farm: A man in his 50’s has died in hospital today following an incident at New Farm last week. Around 4.30pm on Friday October 9 the man was injured after he was struck by a vehicle in the New Farm area. He was transported to the Royal Brisbane Hospital but died from his injuries this afternoon. Police investigations into the incident are continuing.

Suspicious fire, Bundaberg: Police are investigating a suspicious house fire at an address in Bundaberg earlier today. It is believed the fire broke out around 2.35pm in a unit on Targo Street, causing extensive damage to the building. Scientific officers will attend the scene of the fire tomorrow to investigate the cause.
