Drugs charges, Helensvale: A 26-year-old Helensvale woman will appear in court tomorrow after police allegedly located a drug lab at Helensvale earlier today. Police executed a search warrant at around 10.15am and allegedly located the lab in a Kingaroy Avenue home. The woman has been charged with one count each of possessing a dangerous drug, producing a dangerous drug and possessing a drug utensil. She is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Drug charges, Hopevale: A 41-year-old Cooktown man has been charged following the discovery of an alleged drug crop at Hopevale today. Around 2.55pm police allegedly located a number of plants at Melsonby Station, via Hopevale. The 41-year-old man has been charged with one count each of possessing a dangerous drug and producing a dangerous drug. He is due to appear in the Cooktown Magistrates Court on November 3.
