Morning Round-up Third edition

Robbery, Enoggera: Investigations have commenced into the robbery of an 18-year-old man at the bus stop at the intersection of Shand and Sicklefield streets, Enoggera, last night. It is believed the man was waiting at the bus stop around 10.10pm when he was approached by a group of youths. One male asked him for money and he handed over small change before being punched to the face causing him to fall over. The offender has stolen the victim’s wallet and phone before leaving the scene. The offender is described as being 175cm tall, of a muscular build, of Pacific Islander appearance, wearing a hoodie and jeans.

Robbery with violence charge, Windsor: Police have charged an 18-year-old man following the robbery of a man in his 20s last night. It is alleged the victim was walking along McDonald Road, Windsor, around 9.50pm when he was approached by a number of people.  One man has allegedly knocked him to the ground before fleeing with the victim’s backpack. The 18-year-old man has been charged with one count of robbery with violence and is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
