Updated photo of missing woman, Dulcie Birt and police appeal for assistance to find missing utility tray
Police involved in the suspicious disappearance of Riverview woman Dulcie Birt have
located security footage taken five hours before she went missing.
Police also believe that a missing aluminium drop side tray may assist with their investigations.
The footage confirms that Ms Birt was wearing a red shirt, grey shorts and black cap.
Investigators believe it is likely Ms Birt was wearing these clothes when she went missing from her Riverview home at 10pm on Wednesday, October 21.
Investigations have revealed that Ms Birt may have left her residence at 76 Old Ipswich Road in a 1998 Green Mitsubishi Triton Utility four wheel drive that evening.
The direction of travel of the utility after it left her address is not known however it is possible the vehicle may have driven off road.
The vehicle was generally in poor condition with the right hand side rear tail light not working.
Investigators are also interested in speaking with anyone who has located the aluminium drop side tray belonging to the green Mitsubishi Triton Utility.
Police believe it is likely this aluminium drop side tray came off the vehicle around the time that Ms Birt went missing. The location of this tray may well be relevant to the investigation.
Police are urgently seeking information from anyone who may have seen the 1998 Green Mitsubishi Triton utility driving in the Riverview, Dinmore or surrounding areas on the evening of Wednesday evening, October 21 or Thursday morning, October 22.
Police continue to hold grave fears for Ms Birts safety and urge anyone with any information which may assist with their investigation to contact them.
