Update on fatal crash Kelvin Grove
A 31-year-old man died as a result if a single vehicle crash on the Inner City Bypass (ICB) just before midday today.
Around 11.50am the man was travelling west on the ICB on his motorbike when he was seen riding around a right hand bend where it crosses over Kelvin Grove Road.
Preliminary investigations suggests that the bike was in the right hand lane and had just passed a large truck and was attempting to merge back into the left hand lane in front of the truck when it appears he has lost control with the rear of the bike sliding out from underneath him.
The bike has impacted with the concrete wall and then continued on hitting a large metal pole. The bike continued on coming to rest approximately 50 meters from the pole.
The man died at the scene
