Drug charges, Yaroomba: A man has been charged in relation to the alleged discovery of MDMA tablets, amphetamines, cannabis plants, semi automatic rifles, ammunition and drug paraphernalia at an Amethyst Place address at Yaroomba. The cache was located after a search warrant was executed on Wednesday. A 26-year-old Narangba man is due to face the Maroochydore Magistrates Court today on one count each of trafficking in dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of anything for use in the commission of crime.
Fatal crash, Mount Nathan: Police are investigating a fatal crash which occurred at Mount Nathan last night. About 8pm a sedan collided with a parked truck on Beaudesert Nerang Road. The driver and sole occupant of the sedan, a 31-year-old man, died at the scene. The truck was unoccupied at the time. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
