Update - officer stood down, Southern Region
A Senior Constable from the Southern Region has resigned this afternoon after being charged with a number of offences this morning.
The charges include four counts of wilful damage, two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, one count each of enter dwelling with intent, unlawful stalking and use carriage service to make threat.
The charges relate to incidents that occurred whilst he was off duty.
The officer has been released on bail and is due to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on November 25.
