Serious crash, Warwick: The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a single truck roll-over that occurred around 8.20am today on the Cunningham Highway at Sunnyside, approximately 15kms South of Warwick. The 40-year-old driver and sole occupant had to be extracted from his vehicle. He was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane Hospital with serious injuries. The rescue efforts caused the Cunningham Highway to be closed with diversions in place. The highway was reopened around 5.30pm.
Fatal single vehicle crash, Tinana (near Maryborough): A man has died in a single vehicle crash on Seven Mile Road at Tinana around 5:15pm today. Preliminary investigation suggests the vehicle, carrying four other occupants, left the road and hit a tree for an unknown reason. Some of the occupants were entrapped in the car and had to be extracted. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating
