Hydroponics set-ups located, St Lucia

Police have this morning located three large hydroponic set-ups and approximately 500 marijuana plants following the execution of search warrants at addresses in St Lucia.

Detectives from the State Crime Operations Command Organised Crime Investigation Unit and Indooroopilly CIB conducted the raids earlier this morning on the houses.

It is alleged one residence contained a hydroponic set-up, $15,000 in cash, approximately 10-15 kilograms of cut marijuana and four cars, which are alleged to be proceeds of crime.

It is estimated $75,000 worth of hydroponic equipment has so far been seized from the three addresses.

Ten people are currently assisting police with their enquiries.

Anyone with information which could assist police with their investigations should contact Crime Stoppers anonymously via 1800 333 000 or crimestoppers.com.au 24hrs a day.
