Schoolies Update – Day 2
Overall police are happy with the behaviour of Gold Coast schoolies overnight in Surfers Paradise.
A crowd of around 20,000 schoolies was recorded within the Schoolies precinct, including the Hub area on the beach.
Police would like to remind schoolies to keep safe while celebrating and remember that swimming in the dark or while affected by alcohol is dangerous.
