Update, Mt Isa death

Police have charged a 38-year-old local woman this morning following the death of a man in Mt Isa last evening.

Around 8pm last night police commenced investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 43-year-old Mt Isa man after he was located at a residential address in Kaeser Street.

A woman has been charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and will appear in Mt Isa Magistrates Court today.

Police investigations are continuing.
