Manslaughter charge, Hemmant: A 48-year-old Wynnum woman will reappear in court on December 7 charged with the unlawful killing of a 55-year-old man at Hemmant in August. Around 10.30pm on August 4 police were notified of the death of man at a residence in Wyuna Court and attended the scene. The 55-year-old man was located deceased when police arrived at the residence. The 48-year-old woman was charged with one count of manslaughter and appeared in the Wynnum Magistrates Court on November 23. She is due to reappear on December 7.
Indecent treatment arrest: A 43-year-old man will appear in the Proserpine Magistrates Court on Monday November 30 charged with indecent treatment of a child. It is alleged that the man entered the child’s bedroom through a window and assaulted her.
