Men charged for armed robbery, Gladstone: Two Gladstone men aged 20 and 18 will reappear in court on April 1, 2010 following the armed robbery of a local convenience store on November 15. It is alleged the two men entered the business on Dawson Road armed with a knife and stole a sum of cash and cigarettes. They appeared in the Gladstone Magistrates Court yesterday charged with armed robbery and enter premises with intent.
Assault police charge, Ipswich: A 17-year-old Redbank man was charged with assault occasioning bodily harm after he allegedly punched a police officer in the face last night. Around 11.40pm police attended Lowry Lane at North Ipswich in regards to people drinking in the area, and were in the process of conducting street checks on five people when a Constable was allegedly assaulted. The man is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on December 18.
