Morning round-up second edition

Serious traffic crash, Mt Nebo: A 14-year-old boy is in a critical but stable condition after a serious traffic crash last night at Mt Nebo. Around 9.15 there was a single vehicle crash on Mt Nebo Road near Jolly’s lookout. Initial investigations suggest the car hit an embankment and rolled over onto its roof. The male driver and the front passenger were not seriously injured, but the 14-year-old rear passenger was taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital by the Queensland Ambulance Service with serious head injuries. Police Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.

Stabbing, Bribie Island: A 27-year-old man from Deception Bay was stabbed in the leg by an unknown object at the Bongaree Jetty, Bribie Island last night.  About 11pm the man was fishing on the jetty with other men when an argument occurred and he sustained an injury to his leg. The man was taken to the Caboolture Hospital for treatment.  Investigations are continuing.
