Appeal for information - supermarket robberies
Police have released images of man who may be able to assist with the investigations in relation to five robberies in Brisbane between September and October.
About 9.40am on Sunday, September 27 a man has entered the Woolworths supermarket on Latrobe Terrace at Paddington and grabbed a bag containing cash before fleeing on foot.
About 8.45am on Friday, October 2 a man has entered the Coles supermarket at Morningside and reached into an open cash register and taken a small sum of cash. He was last seen on Junction Road.
About 2.40pm on the same day a man has entered the Woolworths supermarket on Beaudesert Road at Moorooka and reached into an open cash register to steal a large sum of cash.
About 9.20am on Saturday, October 10 a man has entered the Coles supermarket at Fairfield Gardens on Fairfield Road at Fairfield and reached into an open cash register and taken a small sum of cash. He was last seen heading east on Mildmay Street.
About 11.30am on Sunday, October 18 a man has entered the Bi-Lo store on South Pine Road at Alderley and reached into an open register and taken a sum of cash.
A minor struggle has ensued between the offender and the store attendant and the offender has pushed the attendant to the ground before fleeing. He was last seen on South Pine Road.
The man is described as Caucasian and has blonde hair. He is approximately 180cm tall and has a proportionate build and is believed to be between 30 and 40-years-old.
