Police appeal for witnesses, car carrier theft, Eagle Farm: Police are continuing investigations following the theft of a car carrier from Eagle farm last night.  Around 8.15pm a car carrier containing two cars was stolen from Eagle Farm.  The driver has driven the vehicle along the Gateway Motorway in an erratic manner, side swiping at least six cars before abandoning the carrier in Ferguson Street, Northgate. Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen this vehicle being driven on the road to contact Hendra Criminal Investigation Branch. Anyone with information which could assist police with their investigations should contact Crime Stoppers anonymously via 1800 333 000 or crimestoppers.com.au 24hrs a day. Crime Stoppers is a charitable community volunteer organisation working in partnership with the Queensland Police Service.

Graffiti charge, Arundel: A year long investigation into graffiti offences in the Arundel and Parkwood areas has been solved following the arrest of a 20-year-old Arundel man. Inquiries into the man commenced after he was allegedly located in his vehicle on Millaroo Drive at Arundel around 1.25pm on October 26 during a routine traffic interception. Police will allege the man is responsible for committing graffiti-related offences between June 2008 and June 2009 at the Arundel Plaza Shopping Centre, The Arundel Tavern and on local telephone boxes, light poles and electricity boxes. He was charged with seven counts of willful damage and was issued with a notice to appear at the Southport Magistrates Court on November 26.

Fatal traffic crash, Haigslea: A female has died today in a crash between a truck and a sedan on the Warrego Highway at Haigslea. Police were advised of the crash around 11.57am which resulted in the death of the female, who has not yet been identified, travelling in the sedan. The highway was closed for several hours but has been re-opened. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
