Fatal traffic crash, Beenleigh
Police are currently at the scene of a fatal traffic crash on the M1 at Beenleigh.
Police received a call around 9.45pm last night of a two vehicle crash just near the Albert River heading southbound.
A man driving one car has died at the scene and the female passenger in his car has been taken to Gold Coast Hospital, with what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
The female driver of the other car is has also received what are believed to be non-life threatening and was taken to Gold Coast Hospital.
The M1 southbound is currently down to one lane.
Police Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
