Fatal traffic crash – Kinka Beach (NE of Rockhampton)

Police are currently at the scene of a fatal traffic crash at Kinka Beach (north east of Rockhampton).

Around 6pm two cars were involved in a collision on Tanby Road around 400 metres north from the Scenic Highway intersection.

A man died at the scene with the female driving the other car sustaining some injuries. She was being treated by Queensland Ambulance Service.

The road is still closed, how ever there are diversions in place.

Police Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
