Serious traffic crash, Rochedale: Police advise motorists that the Pacific Motorway at Rochedale (southbound) has been reduced to one lane due to a three vehicle traffic crash. The incident occurred around 11.25am and is believed to have involved a truck, car and a motorcycle. No information is available on patients at this stage but it is believed a male motorcycle rider is in a serious condition. Police ask motorists to seek an alternative route, or remain patient if stuck in traffic and exercise caution while travelling past the crash site.
Assault charges, Labrador: Police have charged a 25-year-old woman after an alleged glassing incident at Labrador this morning. Around 1.35am it is alleged the woman struck a 42-year-old man in the head with a glass bottle at a hotel on Marine Parade. The victim sustained lacerations to the head and chest. The man was transported by Queensland Ambulance Service to Southport Hospital. The woman has been charged with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm and is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on December 21.
