Charges, serious assault, Rockhampton
Police have charged an 18-year-old Rockhampton man with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm, rape and a number of property related charges after an alleged serious assault of an 82-year-old woman at Rockhampton on January 26.The 18-year-old is currently in police custody and will appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Police would like to thank the media, the community and the State Emergency Service for their assistance in the investigations so far.
