Search continues for missing Malanda man Mark Bambling

Police continue to search for missing Malanda man Mark Bambling and have renewed their appeal for public assistance.MP Bambling from Malanda

Despite an extensive land and aerial search no sightings of Mr. Bambling or his vehicle have been made.

Forty-eight year old Mark Bambling was last seen at a hotel at Milla Milla about 9pm on January 23.

Mr. Bambling was last seen driving towards the Old Palmerston Highway in a grey 2003 Toyota Landcruiser utility with Queensland registration 346HMP (similar to the vehicle pictured below). Mr. Bambling’s vehicle also has a black bulbar and a UHF antenna on the bulbar.

Concerns are held for his safety as he suffers from a medical condition and hasn’t contacted family, friends or attended work since the 23rd. 

He is described as being 178cm tall with a slim build, green eyes and brown hair and was last seen wearing a blue singlet, dark blue jeans and leather slide thongs; he may also have with him an orange coloured reflectorised work jacket and drizabone oilskin coat.
