Murder charge, Eastern Heights
Police charged a 56-year-old Eastern Heights man with murder at a bedside hearing today.
It is alleged the man killed a 50-year-old woman at a Vivian Street home last Thursday, February 18.
The man was remanded in custody and remains under police guard in hospital
He is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on June 2.
