Comfit released, sexual assault, Condon

Police have released a comfit of a man they believe will be able to assist with their investigation into a sexual assault of a woman at Condon on February 15. Condon comfit

The woman was exercising along a pathway near Vickers Bridge around 7pm when she was approached by a man from behind. 

She was assaulted, knocked to the ground and further sexually assault leaving her with serious injuries.

Another jogger rendered assistance to the woman and called QAS and police.

The man is described as being aged between 17 and 20, with a dark complexion, wearing a singlet, white shorts, white socks and a baseball cap.

Police are appealing for anyone who was exercising near this area who may have seen this man to contact Crime Stoppers or the Townsville Criminal Investigation Branch.
