Missing man, Sunshine Beach
A ground and air search is underway for an elderly man missing in the Sunshine Beach area.
Seventy-five-year-old man was last seen by family in Ray Street, Sunshine Beach around 9am yesterday morning.
Police on foot, trail bikes and motor vehicles, as well as personnel from the State Emergency Service, National Parks and Wildlife and the AGL Rescue Chopper have been searching areas surrounding Ray Street as well as the nearby Noosa National Park.
The man suffers from a medical condition which may cause him to become confused at times.
He is described as Caucasian, 180cms tall with a slim build and short grey hair; and was last seen wearing grey shorts, dark blue check shirt and shoes.
