Rape charges, Toowong: A 23-year-old man has been charged following an alleged sexual assault incident at a Toowong address on Friday night. It is alleged the man had dropped the woman at her residence and followed her in where he allegedly assaulted her.  He has been charged with one count each of enter dwelling with intent, common assault and rape, and two counts of sexual assault. He is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow. 

Truck rollover, Landsborough Highway, McKinlay:  Police and emergency services are currently at the scene of a road-train rollover approximately 14km northwest of McKinlay on the Landsborough Highway.  The two rearmost trailers tipped around 6am and spilled their load onto the road and surrounding area. No one was injured.  The road is expected to remain closed for most of the day whilst the road is cleared.  Diversions are in place at Cloncurry and McKinlay.

Call for witness to a speeding incident, Clear Island Waters: Police are appealing for a male witness to come forward in relation to speeding offence on February 21.  The man assisted police at the time following an incident where a vehicle was detected speeding along Santa Cruz Boulevard at Clear Island Waters around 1.40pm. The man is asked to contact the Gold Coast Traffic Branch on 5656 9165.
