Flood victims rescued, Taroom: Police officers have rescued three people from a flooded creek after they became trapped on the roof of their four wheel drive earlier today. Around 5.30pm police received a call saying three females aged 51, 18 and 11 were trapped by rising flood waters in Brock Creek on Kinfauns Road near Taroom. Officers responded immediately and used rescue ropes and a winch cable to pull the trio to safety. All three were taken to Taroom Hospital by the Queensland Ambulance Service for observation.

Missing bushwalkers, Mount Barney: Three people are currently missing after they went bushwalking in Mount Barney National Park today. Police received a phone call around 4pm that two women aged 25 and 24 and a man aged 29 were lost and unable to make it back to their car. The three have been in contact with police and stated they have food and were in good health. Police will re-commence a search at first light.
